About Us

The Knowle Care Home was opened in 1986 and is an established care home registered by the Care Quality Commission. The Knowle provides high-standard accommodation for up to 32 people who require personal care and also those with dementia.

The Knowle has been created from two large, combined, Victorian houses and a purpose built extension situated in the Ashton area which is a residential area close to the town centre with easy access to other major places by public transport. The house is  a brick built detached period property set in an acre of well maintained gardens and grounds.
